Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update. Continuing Education Hours Available: Emergency Medical Services (CAPCE) and Dental Professionals (AGD/PACE).
You have 2 options for the certification – AHA or HSI
- AHA covers all those who work in a hospital & situation where your employer has told you they only accept AHA certification cards
- HSI covers everything the AHA course covers but is allowed for dental staff & those where AHA is not a strict requirement for your BLS certification
Whichever option you choose, once you are booked we will send you the online training access code.
You must complete this online training BEFORE your hands-on skills session with us.
The hands-on skills session will be completed at your location, which can be your home, office or a local park when necessary.
